South County Animal Rescue
Donate HereThe South County Animal Rescue (SCAR) was founded in January 2016. To date, SCAR has rescued over 2,000 animals that would have been given away, surrendered or abandoned in rural South Monterey County. We also help our shelter partners by taking in shelter animals when a foster is available. We are entirely volunteer operated and work function in a foster based system. SCAR is proud to serve our South County community and save the lives of innocent animals.

DONATE HEREThe I-Help program provides homeless men and women with safe, short-term lodging and a nightly meal while they participate in the program. It offers individualized guidance and support to help participants pursue employment and achieve personal life goals. The program also encourages independence, self-sufficiency, and personal growth by helping each participant build a positive mindset and healthy lifestyle.
